Q: How long is a typical session with you?
A: There is no "typical" session. My individual sessions are 60 minutes.. Couples and family therapy sessions are most effective with a 75 or 90 minute framework.

A: Many people imagine hypnosis as very different than it actually is. They may have seen films or TV shows showing a subject being "brainwashed" or humiliated. Clinical hypnosis is used to help you achieve your goals more quickly and is a very pleasant experience. You can bring someone into the session with you if that will help you feel more comfortable.
Q: My friend highly recommended you - do you think you can help me?
A: I honestly don't know. Your friend may connect with me as a therapist and you may not. A recommendation or referral is no guarantee that a therapist is right for you. I suggest that you interview several therapists to get a sense of who you're most comfortable with and who you feel would be most helpful.
Q: Do you work with children?
A: Yes, I work with children and adolescents with a variety of problems. Each client is evaluated to determine if they are an appropriate candidate for therapy.
Q: Which eating disorders do you treat?
A: I treat people who are struggling with Binge Eating Disorder (BED), bulimia, anorexia and BDD (body dysmorphic disorder).
